Let Me Tell You About Functional Fitness Training!
Functional Fitness Training was created to give our members the quickest, most optimal way to get fit for daily life and improved sports performance. The workout sessions are 1 hour long and constantly varied. We keep your interest and your curiosity levels high in anticipation of the workouts. Depending on the workout of the day, the coach may direct or lead a group warm up followed by technique review and practice dedicated to strength and skills development.
We have drawn some of the best exercises from all areas of fitness to give you the most comprehensive strength and conditioning program ever. Each day you will show up and perform the workout routine, which will consist of movements from specifically chosen areas paired up in as many combinations as possible so that you will never get bored doing the same workouts over and over again.

- stamina
Why Is Functional Fitness Training Better?
There are movements that mimic motor recruitment patterns that are found in everyday life. Others are somewhat unique to the gym. Squatting is standing from a seated position; dead lifting is picking an object up off the ground. They are both functional movements that individuals are likely to do in their everyday life. Machine-based leg extensions and leg curl both have no equivalent in nature and therefore are non-functional movements. The bulk of isolation movements are non-functional. By contrast, the multi-joint movements of our fitness training are functional, natural movements. Natural movement typically involves movement of multiple joints for every day activity.
The importance of functional movement is two-fold. First all, the functional movements are mechanically sound, and therefore, safe. Secondly, they are movements that elicit a high neuroendocrine response (i.e. they really make your body work).
Functional Fitness Training is a strength and conditioning program that builds general physical preparedness for all of life’s challenges. A blend of gymnastics, weightlifting, and mono-structural endurance, it does not specialize. It will never plateau. It is fun, creative, and, most importantly, it works. We teach you to do common things uncommonly well, while developing a base of strength and stamina on which you can build an active lifestyle. Our methodology thrives on the effort, commitment, and cooperation of a community that shares its successes; a community we want you to become a part of.
